bigbangindex.dreamwidth.org · a site they built themselves
bigbangindex publishes writing about fandom at bigbangindex.dreamwidth.org, a site they built themselves. Last published January 2026, still publishing this year. Not in the top million domains: the big engines have never ranked it.
Counted from links on their own pages whose paths carry a year and a month. That reaches only the pages the crawl has seen, so early years may be undercounted.
2026 is January to October.
Every writer in the index by years since their earliest evidence. This writer: 5, from the earliest date the crawl saw. The index reads front pages, so it sees most writers as younger than they are.
Single words from their own pages, weighted by how rare each is across the 4,473 sites in the index. The small number is how many sites in the index use the word at all. Never a line of the writing.
They link to spikedluv, talkingtothesky, zvi.

Why search does not surface this site, and why that is the machine's problem.
Hearts show once a writer reaches three. No account, no cookie.
Every figure on this page was measured from the site itself and says where it came from. Nothing is quoted from the writing and nothing is written by a model. Something wrong? One email corrects it: hello@longhandalmanac.com. Want out of the index? Same address, or two lines in your robots.txt (how), and this page is gone the next morning.
