Longhand Almanac lists 13 writers filed under food who publish on sites they built themselves. 11 published in 2026. 1 have been at it since the 1990s. 10 write on their own domain. A site is filed under food by the almanac’s cataloguer, which reads the writing and picks from a fixed vocabulary of fourteen subjects. Every card links to the writer’s own site.
Platforms are excluded from the index by rule. Neocities, Dreamwidth and Bear Blog pages are hand-written, so they count.
Earliest evidence per site. Front pages show the recent end of an archive, so these lean late; a writer’s own sitemap moves the start earlier when the index has read it.
